So last night while I was waiting for my TV shows to start, I flipped over to the HDMV channel. If you couldn't figure that out, its a HD Movie channel I have with my satellite carrier. Anyway, they were showing the classic 'Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome' I did enjoy Road Warrior, and Mad Max, the two prior movies, but Tina Turner comes very close to ruining this installment. What the title of this post is about, is referring to the end of the scene in the actaul Thunderdome "Two men enter.......One man leaves" hehe, anyway, after Max refuses to finish off Blaster (the large sidekick of Master) and one of Tina's henchman shoots Blaster with his crossbow, he turns the end to his mouth and makes a blowing motion......this made me chuckle. If I need to explain why this was funny, stop reading, go rent every comedy movie at your local video store, and have a marathon viewing until you develop a sense of comedy.
Monday night TV is one of the best of the week. The typical line-up starts with 'How I Met Your Mother', then 'Two and a Half Men', followed (right now) by 'King of Queens', then finishes with 'The Riches'. Yes in the middle somewhere they shove in and try and force us to watch 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' but I fight the man, and watch something else for those 30 minutes. And I also know 'King of Queens' is about to close their doors. The new show 'Drive' has been good so far as well, I am a Nathan Fillion fan from his role's on 'Firefly' and 'Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place'. Drive wasn't on last night though. I hope it hasn't been cancelled. Also, 'Rules of Engagement' and the 'The Class' I believe have already ended their seasons.
Anyway, about what was on last night. How I Met Your.... was classic, Barney was training to be a contestant on The Price is Right, where he hoped to confront Bob Barker and find out if his Mom was telling the truth about him (Barker) being Barney's paternal father. As usual, he was hilarious, and when the moment finally arrives, his price guesses are perfect, to the dollar. He even spins the showcase wheel to land on $1.00, after practicing on a bike wheel. He follows it by bidding the exact amount on his showcase, and even calling out the exact price of his opponenet's showcase, which she overbid.
Two and a Half Men was also a great episode, the kid in that show can pull some laughs, and last night he ends up winning a small fortune at the horse track on an 80-1 bet Charlie makes for him, hilarity ensues.
King of Queens sort of started slipping for me, when they took the show a different direction in a way. All of a sudden the wife's character who was occasionally sarcastic, became this huge witch, and that's when the show started going downhill for me. Doug is still hilarious though.
The Riches is a new FX show starring Eddie Izzard, and Minnie Driver as 'traveller's' or gypsies. They are the sole witnesses of a fatal accident, and assume the idenitites of the victims. Eddie's character Doug Rich is an attorney, and they decide their next con will be to live the American Dram as the Rich family. This show isn't for the kiddies, and has mild language, sexual references, drugs, but doesn't all of that make the show better? Nowadays it is sometimes difficult to watch an edited version of a movie on free TV, or sit through what is supposed to be a drama, and never hear a curse word. It just doesn't seem real at all.
Ok, time to get some work done here.

On April 25, FOX cancelled Drive after four episodes had aired. FOX announced on the official Drive website that it intends to air the remaining two episodes in mid-2007.
Sorry dude.
(And don't laugh at me, I saw that lip curl up! :) )
