The first is where the subject comes from, as the stuff to the right says, I live in Kansas. To be honest there isn't that much exciting here, besides the weather being all over the charts, rain, snow, tornados, etc. I have considered moving before, I came very close right after high school to moving to Las Vegas. After I got back from NYC I thought about moving there. There is even the pipe dream of moving to Sicily, buying a villa on the coast, and never looking back.
Well there is a real chance that a move might still happen. Last year I visited my Uncle and family down in Scottsdale, AZ. I've been there before and enjoyed it, but this time I spent some time thinking if I could live there permanently. You have to admit the weather is a big selling point. No more snow and ice and trying to drive in it. I do like snow, and the rain here, but it's not fun to be stuck at home because it's just easier. My Uncle and I even talked about me finding a job down there if I did.
So that's just a head's up, I'll be browsing the internet for the next few weeks looking at real estate, and job's I might have a chance getting.
Tomorrow hopefully I will have time to talk about this nice application I found for my cell-phone. (PPC-6700) Here is a screenshot of what it looks like right now, I am still tweaking some coding (my first time messing with XML) so it might change, but look for a write-up soon.
The three icons above the time display, are
1. Phone
2. SMS Messaging
3. Tasks.
1. The numbers by the phone are missed calls (top left) and voice mail (bottom right)
2. The number above the SMS (text) messaging shows unread text's
3. Lastly the number by tasks shows me active open tasks.
The two rows of icons above that are applications, and when I do the write-up, I'll explain more.
