Argh, I can't stand idiot drivers

So this clown gets into my lane this morning, in his lexus, and oh my gosh on his cell phone. When I say my lane, I mean the sometimes referred to as the fast, or the passing lane. I admit, I cruise around 80mph the whole drive down the hwy. This above mentioned idiot, slows down to about 58 mph. We were in traffic, but he could have at least kept it around 65. I wanted to pass him, but couldn't until the last second when I had to punch it, and swerve in front of a large construction type vehicle.

Next up, this clown stops about 3 car lengths behind the first car at the red light, literally, you could have pulled a school bus between him and the lead car. The light turns green and he doesn't move. I realize he wants to get over one more lane into the left hand turning lane. I am so sick of idiots who are in the wrong lane, miss their exit, or whatever and instead of realizing they are morons, and go to the next turn and try a second time, they almost create accidents to save those 5 minutes of fixing the inbred mistake they just made.

ok, now that I have that out of my system.

Last night after work I went over to Best Buy, and bought a movie (blue-ray) and the new PS3 game Metal Gear Solid 4. First up, I'll write about the movie.

Be Kind Rewind (Blue Ray)
Trailer
IMDB

Jack Black ...Jerry
Mos Def ...Mike
Danny Glover ...Elroy Fletcher
Mia Farrow ...Miss Falewicz
Melonie Diaz ...Alma

I was very excited to see this movie, even when it was in the theaters. That doesn't happen very often anymore. In fact, I am thinking about going on my own to see the Hulk and Happening movies this weekend. I probably won't though since my weekend plans are filling up. Anyway, about the movie.

I read a few critics reviews about this movie, and they were mixed. I went ahead and bought a copy to decide for myself. What I don't like about the trailer, is that the idea really comes from Mos Def's character, and it makes it look like it is Jack Black's idea.

Anyway, Danny Glover plays a VHS tape movie rental store, in a run down building he claims was the birthplace of a famous jazzman during the 50's. The store is in bad condition in a small New Jersey suburb. Mos Def works at the store, and Jack Black is the kooky conspiracy theory friend who lives in a trailer in the junkyard down the street. Danny Glover leaves town for about a week, after finding out he has 60 days to either repair the building or the city will demolish it for fancy condos. He leaves Mike (Mos Def) in charge, with a final request to keep Jerry (jack Black) out of the store! Jerry has a way of causing mayhem unintentionally, and of course the first day Mr Fletcher (Danny Glover) is gone, he does just that. Jerry decides he wants to sabotage the power company and short / blow out a transformer station. Mike goes along at first, but leaves Jerry there when he realizes Mr Fletcher would not approve. Not discouraged at all, Jerry fails to blow anything up, but does succeed in electrocuting himself. The result is he is now magnetized!

Before they realize it, Jerry erases every movie in the store just by touching them. They need a plan to make a customer happy who Mr Fletcher has been calling while on vacation to check on everything, and when she rents Ghostbusters, having never seen it, Mike has a brilliant idea. They will tape over the now blank movie with their own version. When the customer's nephew and his tough guy friends see it, they demand more home made versions of movies and it's downhill from there. The guys re-film such greats as RoboCop, Driving Miss Daisey, Rush Hour, and many many more.

I thought this was a great movie, there were plenty of laughs, and I recommend it. Check out the trailer for yourself above, and then go get the movie!

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Cut Scene

Gameplay Demo (kind of long, but good, laugh with me as the presenter pronounces the word militia as 'mil-a-tia'

I haven't had a chance to even try playing yet. After I got home, let the dogs out, made something to eat, watched my daily dose of Holly Starr, I mean Malcolm in the Middle, cleaned the dogs ears, put in a load of laundry, and then I watched Be Kind, Rewind.

Also, big news, Americas Got Talent started last night. I admit I got wrapped up last year, and talk about cool. The winner, who got a cool million $$, also just signed a long-term contract in Vegas for $100,000,000 yes, that's one hundred million dollars. I think if I was in his shoes, my opening act would be the runner up from last season, they were both very talented and deserving. I am not really an avid fake-eality (that;s fake reality) TV watcher, but I do enjoy this show, some of the stories and the talent are amazing.

ok, that's it for today

ciao!
